JOB DESCRIPTION:
Candidates should have knowledge of Applications Architecture & Design. The role involves documenting & reviewing software architecture and & designs, and supporting development teams.
The Applications Architecture & Design Analyst is part of the Systems Design and Functional Architecture team within IT Solutions and Development Division. He is responsible for ensuring that business requirements are aligned with system functionality and provides technical designs for all solutions developed. He is also responsible for any special projects, as directed by the Senior IT management team.

PREFERRED  QUALIFICATION:
·         BSc or Master Degree in Computer Science or Management Information System or any related field with at least seven to ten years in a technical development environment.
·         High level of Arabic and English interpersonal skills and communication skills both written and oral.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
·         Review new projects / change requests for existing projects to define different team stakeholders participating in accomplishing this objective.
·         Creating and maintaining SW Architecture documents using defined technical documentation templates.
·         Guiding SW design approach.
·         Provides application and system functional expertise for development projects.
·         Assigns appropriate resources to analyze business requirements and produce related functional specification documentation
·         Produces technical designs to facilitate the development or enhancement of applications to fulfill business needs
·         Coordinate with special projects (Proof of concept, Production enhancements …) for successful completion, as defined by senior IT management.
·         Provides consultancy services to other teams within IT & Operations Group.
·         Provides higher-level support in response to user problems, difficulties and questions regarding system functionality, operations, input/output, reporting and general operational procedures for all IT applications.
·         Working as part of a team, which may be established purely for a particular project, to work on a specific project
·         Adapting current Architecture & Design to new requirements.
·         Reacting to problems and correcting the design as necessary.
·         Act as 4th level production support for issues related to integration between different systems.
·         Identifies opportunities of improvements for existing applications.
·         Analyzing and tuning the design performance/Investigating, analyzing and documenting design parameters.
·         Consulting manuals, periodicals and technical reports to learn new ways to develop design and maintain existing skills and knowledge.
·         Defines, promotes and encourages the use of development best practices.
·         Communicate with external vendor from technical prospective in project early stages as proof of concept till the end of the project to resolve any issues.
·         Participate in RFP & vendor evaluation.

SAP Bydesign SDK Developer

Position Overview: 
Bramasol is seeking a SDK software developer to be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining functionality on the SAP Business ByDesign software development kit for our Cloud Practice. This position will work with the Bramasols development team lead and functional consultants to ensure the business requirements are developed according to development standards and procedures. The responsibilities will include the proper documentation of the technical design, implementation, unit testing, and deployment of the solution. 
Bramasols cloud-based solutions specifically address a new market of prospective clients: growing midsize companies that traditionally have lacked the IT resources and budgets to purchase business software but now require a complete business solution to support expected growth and innovation.
This position within Bramasols Cloud Practice provides capabilities in both a client-facing and a remote-delivery role; and will guide clients through all phases of an implementation ensuring overall project success.
Required Skills: 
Participate in all facets of the software development lifecycle in the development and maintenance of solutions.
Work closely with Bramasols development team lead in the development and testing of solutions.
Work with the functional team to identify requirements and translate requirements into the technical design.
Participate in code reviews.
Complete all required development documentation as defined by development standards.
Perform other related duties as assigned by Development Team Lead or Project Manager.
Demonstrated knowledge of all aspects of the project lifecycle, including design, configuration, testing and cutover for SAP Business ByDesign (or similar Cloud-based solutions).
Demonstrated experience in translating client business requirements into business solutions.
Leverage and use all project accelerators.
Provide coaching/advisory services to client project teams.
Use internal systems and processes to maintain client relations and business operations.
Perform ongoing support services to existing clients.
The consultant must have strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills. The individual must exemplify integrity and professionalism in all business activities and be able to engage at all levels within a client organization.
Experience with SAP Business ByDesign SDK or functional support.
Experience working with web services and interfacing SAP Business ByDesign with other external systems.
Preferred Background: 
Experience developing solution in the SAP Business By Design Software Development Kit or equivalent training.
Experience in designing add-ons, interfaces and enhancements of object oriented ERP applications preferably SAP.
Clear understanding of architectural concepts and the fundamentals of good software design.
Skilled at working in a team environment where team is dispersed globally.
Highly motivated, self-starter and self-learner.
