Description: We
are seeking a self-motivated individual to join our organization. The candidate
must be from the banking domain. He should have atleast 4-5 yrs of experience
in Service Desk. This role will join a team-oriented group and will be hired
for Service Desk.
Preferred
Qualification: Bachelor
Degree in Computer Science or any related field. 4+ years in Service Desk in
banking domain. Candidates with non-banking domain should not apply. Good
analytical skills/ Proven problem solving skills. Knowledge in skills and in
the use of technologies for detecting and tracking defects.Good (written and
oral) communication skill.Be able to prepare project documentation within
Company standards. Fluent in the use of software development tools and
Utilities/Team player.
Skills
and Abilities: Perform
initial branch rollout inspections/preparation for branch activation; Deliver
it equipments to the branch. Setup/configure workstation and printers, and
setup/configure network connectivity, perform final documentation of the
branch. Perform branch supports, call affected user for additional information,
investigate the incident and provide solution. Report the current status to
regional support team coordinator, update information and close incident.
Repair defective devices if possible if not inform service desk officer check
warranty, provide replacement for defective device. Restore device
configuration and return its normal operational state. Recommend device parts
to be replaced or purchase, recover and restore old data on the new device.
Ensure device delivery documents are sign by requester receives and maintains
device delivery papers, record device delivery in central asset tracking
system, prepare document papers needed for device pull-outs if need vendor
maintenance. Maintain inventory of devices and its consumable parts; ensure
device availability for any new request. Report any non-compliance work to team
leader and/or service desk manager. Assist vendor for support if necessary,
supervised and inspect the quality of vendor works on site update user
inventory database. Report any inventory system issues to system inventory
administrator. Update related reports and/or user inventory database, update
user system inventory database periodically and by equipment movements. Submit
latest inventory updates thru email, Perform maintenance check and confirm the
validity and correctness of its database inventory content before submittal.
