Description: The
Citrix Administrator leads and participates in design, development and
implementation of Citrix Systems activities, to include OS technical support,
systems and application configurations , network design and data center
capabilities for high availability DR failover . Assists in establishment of
input/output processes and working parameters for hardware compatibility and
coordination of subsystems design and integration of total system. Serves as a
fully seasoned/proficient technical resource; provides technical knowledge and
capabilities to advise on hardware and software purchases. Typically 7 or more
years of systems engineering experience. This role is critical client
interfacing support role with the IT Support teams & Business users and
requires nothing less than outstanding customer service skills. The expectation
is that the candidate will quickly ramp up to be knowledgeable of the current
business applications and processes This position directly supports and
interfaces with Bank IT team peers such as Tier 1 Support, IT Operation teams,
Information Security and other internal bank units and external vendors. Ideal
candidate should have strong Windows OS support and Linux (a plus).
Preferred
Qualification: University
degree in the field of computer science, engineering or information systems.
Previous banking experience is a plus. Minimum Five years’ experience in an
enterprise computing environment; or equivalent combination of education and
experience.Citrix Certified Administrator required (CCA). VMWare Certified
Professional required (VCP5). Knowledge and expertise in planning, installation
and administration of Citrix XenApp v6.5 and XenDesktop Server Farms.
Experience supporting & troubleshooting XenApp, and XenDesktop, Citrix Secure
Gateway/Access Gateway, NetScaler, Citrix License Server, MS Terminal Server,
Citrix Web Interface, StoreFront 2.x. and Provisioning Services experience is
required. Advanced knowledge in Windows Server and networking technologies such
as Windows 2008/R2, Active Directory 2008/2012 including systems
administration, optimization, and industry best practices in general. Ability
to design and implement Citrix XenApp & XenDesktop systems utilizing
current industry technology. Ability to troubleshoot technical problems related
to Citrix/VMWare infrastructure.Knowledge and experience in XenDesktop 7/7.5
and Linux is a plus
Skills
and Abilities: Production
support of hosting environment for virtual desktops/applications published via
Citrix. Build and provision base VM images from templates. Build, update and
provision Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop base images. Handle Incident and escalation
related to VMWare and Citrix infrastructure from Service Desk team. Monitor
performance, utilization and capacity of the environment. Perform releases and
break-fixes of the production components following enterprise change control
and production release guidelines. Hours of support: Regular business hours and
holidays with off-hour/weekend on duty and on-call responsibilities.
